Arrival at Delhi Airport / railway station – Delhi is India’s capital and fastest growing city, stands on the West bank of the Yamuna river. Our representative will meet you & introduce you the driver. Then board your car and transfer to hotel. After check in at hotel take some refreshment & proceed for a city tour of New Delhi, visit India Gate and the Parliament House, Raj Ghat - which is the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Qutub Minar (72 m high) – the most perfect of towers of the Persian world. Within the Qutab complex, amidst the ruins of Quwat-ul-Islam mosque, stands the Iron pillar which has stood the variances of weather and has not rusted over 1500 years, also visit Lotus Temple . Afternoon proceed for Old Delhi sightseeing Then visit Red Fort (1639-48), built by the Shah Jehan, creator of The Taj Mahal. Also visit an ancient bazaar of Chandni chowk with stop at Jama Masjid - built in 1650 AD, the largest mosque in Asia. Later Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Mandawa. Mandawa which lies in the heart of Shekhawati. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leeds to the bazaar. You can wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes. After reaching at Mandawa check into hotel. Rest of the day free for rest or leisure or just explore the destination. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast proceed for some local sightseeing of Mandawa. Explore the Mandawa Fort, located in the very heart of Mandawa a classic example of the famed Rajput style of architecture. It houses many beautiful paintings and frescoes that dazzle the eyes & have now been converted into a heritage hotel. Later transfer to Bikaner. After reaching at Bikaner check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast proceed for some local sightseeing of Bikaner. Visit the “Junagarh Fort” constructed between 1588 and 1593 built by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the army of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. The fort has 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions and 2 entrances, it is famous for the super quality of stone carving. Also visit the fascinating “Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok, an incarnation of Durga. The huge silver gate and marble carvings donated by Maharaja Ganga Singh, leads you into the sea of swarming rodents who are considered auspicious. Devotees make offering to the rats. Other places include the famous camel breeding farm just outside the town (closed on Sunday). Later transfer to Jaisalmer. After reaching at Jaisalmer check into hotel. Overnight stay.
After breakfast proceed for some local sightseeing of The Golden City. Visit the 12th century magnificent fort at Jaisalmer (This is the highlight of the tour). Also visit the beautifully and magnificently carved Havelis of Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon ki Haveli and Gandhi Sagar Tank, followed by a visit to the Barabagh Hill. Return back to hotel. In the evening, proceed to view a magnificent sunset in the endless sand dunes of Jaisalmer. Follow it up with a camel ride. In the heart of Thar Desert, the Sam Sand Dunes is an intricately molded wonderland of burnished sandstone. After an excursion on the dunes, return to your hotel and spend the night.
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Jodhpur (The Blue City) - Gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathores of Marwa. After reaching at Jodhpur check into hotel. Rest of the day free for rest or leisure purpose. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed for some local sightseeing of Jodhpur. Jodhpur - the former capital of Marwar state founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort spread over 5 kilometers on a steep hill and looking down 125 meters. The fort appears rugged and impenetrable from the outside, but houses some of the most intricately adorned palaces with exquisitely carved panels and latticed windows. Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal are some of the areas worth exploring. A collection of royal cenotaphs, built in while marble, lies very close to the fort. Built in 1899, the cenotaph also houses portraits of rulers of Jodhpur. Then later transfer to Udaipur. After reaching at Udaipur check into hotel. Udaipur The breath taking beauty of the lakes - Pichola & Fateh Sagar & the magnificent structures built around them, impress every visitor to Udaipur. The city has been voted the best tourist destination in the world in multiple traveller surveys. Wander through the opulent City Palace grounds and the museum. Overlooking Lake Pichola, City Palace complex has several beauteous structures showcasing a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architectures. Udaipur situated in the lap of the thickly wooded Aravali Hills. Founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh following the final sacking of Chittorgarh by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar, Udaipur rivals any of the world famous creations of the Mughals with its Rajput love of the whimsical and its superbly crafted elegance. Udaipur has been called the “Venice of the East”. Evening free for leisure purpose or just explore the local market or enjoying Lake view. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast proceed for some local sightseeing of Udaipur. Visit the Jagdish temple on the shores of Lake Pichola a large Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple situated on a raised terrain was built in 1651 and forms a beautiful pyramidal shape. A visit to the temple will not only be of religious experience, but will also impress you with the architectural brilliance of the age of royalty. Also explore other fascinating sites such as Gulab Bagh and Pratap Memorial Visit the City Palace museum, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum). Then back to hotel for your night stay.
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Pushkar. Pushkar lies 11 kms northwest of Ajmer on the other side of Nag Pahar. Pushkar, sacred to Brahma, the creator, is a lotus in the sand wherein the life of Rajasthan comes to its flowering each year on the first full moon after the festival Diwali. It is a photographer’s dream. After reaching at Pushkar check into hotel. Take some refreshment then proceed for some local sightseeing of Pushkar. Visit and homage to the deity of this holy temple, take a holy dip and cruise in the Pushkar Lake and visit the Nag Pahar, Panchkund and caves that were once said to be lived-in by the holy sage Agastya. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Jaipur. Jaipur city was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1727. It is a magnificent planned city built of rose-pink coloured stones that is why it is called as “Pink City”. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the Pick City market. Overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.
After breakfast, start to excursion to Amber Fort. AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Later visit the CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. Also visit HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-story structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Also visit the Laxmi Narayan temple & Bazaars of Jaipur. JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. Then at evening free for shopping purpose or own activity purpose. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra (City of Love). En route visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569. This royal city, 37 Kms southwest of Agra, was once capital of a mighty empire and its pink sandstone palaces bask in the refulgent glow of its magnificent past. Also visit the Buland Darwaza (The Gate of Victory); set in the south wall, one of the greatest monuments of the Mughal empire and one of the finest Mughal buildings. It is 56.3 meters (176 ft) high, the effect of which is enhanced by a great flight of steps on the outside. It is a spectacular mass of masonry, which dominates the entire city, pierced by a huge central arch, and crowned by a romantic array of domed kiosks. Later proceed Agra. By evening just explore the local handicraft market. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel. Then visit the magnificent Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. The memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. This beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble, took 22 years and 22000 craftsmen to build it. You can also visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar. You may also visit Dayal Bagh & Agra Fort. Later transfer to Delhi. After reaching at Delhi transfer to Airport to catch your flight or transfer to Delhi railway station to board your train for your onward destination with a sweet memory.
